Approach to Main Entrance: Assistance may be required as there are steps up to the main entrance. There is an accessible side entranceapproximately 10 metres from the front of the building. From the side door, there is ramp access to the main hallway. Please use the bell at the front entrance to summon assistance or contact us prior to your arrival.

There are hand rails at the front door and on all stairways.

Approach to Reception Area
:

Our reception is on the first floor and there is no lift. Arrangements are in place with the Sheriff Clerk for access to a room on the ground floor to deal with any enquiries.

There is no seating available in our reception area, however, seating can be provided on request. Please ask if you need extra assistance.

Approach to Interview / Conference Rooms:

The Sheriff Clerk can make an interview room available on the ground floor with level access.

Audible emergency alarms: high-pitched intermittent siren

Our staff have a responsibility to ensure that they accompany any visitors during an emergency evacuation to the muster point designated in local Fire Evacuation Plans. Visitors must not be left unattended and should be accompanied at all times during an emergency evacuation until the all clear is given for re-entry to the building. Where appropriate a suitable emergency evacuation plan will be in place to ensure safe evacuation of disabled persons during an emergency situation.

Please advise the local Office Manager if you have any special requirements.
